A day of embroidery and music
Share
Hello, my lovely,
This morning I spent a few peaceful hours practising embroidery, a hobby I've only recently learned, and one that I'm already completely in love with.
There is something so calming about watching a simple piece of fabric slowly transform with every tiny stitch. I'm still learning, of course, but that's part of the joy. Every flower, little bow, and delicate leaf I finish encourages me to keep creating. I find myself losing track of time as I sit by the window with my embroidery hoop, listening to the birds outside while carefully choosing each colour of thread.
In the afternoon, Victoria and Romina came to visit. We gathered in the pavilion in the garden, where the warm breeze gently drifted through the open windows.
Before we enjoyed afternoon tea, Romina sat beside the beautiful harp and played several enchanting melodies for us. The music floated softly through the garden, accompanied by the gentle singing of the birds, creating the most peaceful atmosphere. Victoria and I listened quietly, completely captivated by every note.
Afterwards, we shared a wonderful afternoon tea with delicate sandwiches, warm scones, tiny cakes, and, of course, plenty of tea. We chatted for hours, laughed together, and admired the beautiful garden as the afternoon slowly slipped by.
It was one of those days that reminded me how much happiness can be found in the simplest things—learning something new, listening to beautiful music, and spending time with dear friends.
I hope your day was filled with a little beauty and a little joy too.
Until tomorrow,
Love,
Arabella 🎀
